Job summary

Smith's Food & Drug Centers in Salt Lake City, Utah, is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to assist pharmacists in delivering exceptional patient care. You will input prescriptions, dispense medications, counsel customers, and help with immunizations under supervision.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Answer questions about products to help customers feel welcome and informed.
• Provide drug counseling to customers and assist with OTC recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system and dispense medications accurately.
• Coordinate with prescribers and insurance to process prescriptions and immunizations under supervision.
