Job summary

Qualifications

• Currently in a School of Pharmacy (P1, P2 or P3) or pre-pharmacy student.
• Intern license required.
• Strong computer skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Outstanding telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter new or refill orders accurately.
• Handle fax and telephone communications.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and patient care.
• Properly handle order exceptions such as refill too soon, invalid orders, etc.
• Resolve common pharmacy problems quickly and efficiently.
• Communicate effectively to leadership and to peers.
• Achieve or exceed productivity standards in a fast paced environment.
• Pharmacist intern duties under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist.
• Hands-on work with robotic prescription dispensing systems.
• Make sterile and non-sterile compounded medications.
