Consonus Pharmacy in Nebraska is seeking a Pharmacist Intern to join our team. This part-time position offers very flexible hours after orientation, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced long-term care setting.

You will enter new or refill orders, handle communications, and support patient care under a licensed Pharmacist. The role emphasizes reliability, accuracy, and a patient-centered approach in a closed-door pharmacy serving nursing home patients.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a School of Pharmacy (P1, P2, or P3) program; pre-pharmacy students considered.
• Intern license is required.
• Strong computer skills and ability to multitask.
• Excellent telephone communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Enter new or refill orders accurately.
• Handle incoming fax and phone communications.
• Deliver customer service and patient care.
• Resolve order exceptions promptly.
• Assist with robotic dispensing under supervision.
• Support sterile and non-sterile compounding activities.
