Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state-issued Pharmacy Intern license.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical products and ability to discuss with customers and prescribers.
• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Assist with OTC recommendations.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy system.
• Dispense the correct medication.
• Contact prescribers for authorization.
• Process third-party insurance information for customers.
• Stock and manage inventory for the department.
• Provide immunizations under supervision.
• Ensure department cleanliness and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assist the department manager in achieving sales and profit goals.
• Deliver excellent customer service in line with Customer 1st strategy.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.
• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Input and process prescriptions accurately.
• Interact with prescribers and third-party insurers as needed.
