Smith's Food & Drug Centers is seeking a Pharmacy Intern to contribute to a safe, service-oriented pharmacy environment. You will assist pharmacists, counsel patients on medications, and support immunization programs under supervision.

You will input prescriptions, verify accuracy, and help manage inventory and customer service in a fast-paced store setting. The role requires active enrollment in a US pharmacy program and a current Pharmacy Intern license, with a strong emphasis on honesty,

Formación

• Actively enrolled in a US school of pharmacy.
• Hold a current state issued Pharmacy Intern license.
• Provide drug counseling to customers.
• Assist with immunizations under supervision of the pharmacist.
• Input patient and prescription information into the pharmacy computer system.
• Dispense the correct medication and process third party insurance.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and answer product questions.
• Stock, check, and stock incoming orders; ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Notify pharmacist on duty of prescription incidents and safety issues.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced environment.
