Job summary

Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital in Spokane, WA is hiring Pharmacist Interns for Supplemental or Per Diem – Variable Shift openings. You will provide pharmaceutical care, information and consultation to patients and healthcare professionals to ensure correct medication use and timely dispensing of prescriptions.

Minimum qualifications include enrollment or graduation from a College of Pharmacy and WA registration or license; preferred coursework in pharmaceutical

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in an accredited College of Pharmacy or graduate of such College.
• Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire or Washington Pharmacist License.
• Preferred coursework or training in the concepts of pharmaceutical care.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care, information and consultation to patients and healthcare professionals in the correct use of medications and supplies.
• Assist in the timely and accurate filling of prescriptions and orders.
• Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Education

Required Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a College of Pharmacy accredited by the Board of Pharmacy or graduate of such College of Pharmacy
• Washington Pharmacist Intern Registration upon hire or Washington Pharmacist License

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
