Job summary

Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, Wisconsin is seeking a Pharmacist for the Inpatient Pharmacy. This full-time position (0.8 FTE) includes 8-hour day shifts with every third weekend and holiday, and a sign-on bonus is available. You will contribute to safe, effective, and cost-conscious pharmacotherapy and patient education.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensure in Wisconsin is required.
• Bachelor's or Doctorate in Pharmacy from an accredited school; Doctorate may be required for some specialties.
• Inpatient Pharmacy experience.
• APhA or PSW membership desired.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical care for safe, efficacious, and cost-effective drug use to improve patient outcomes.
• Deliver information about drugs to support optimal patient care.

The Pharmacist serves as a specialist in a selected area of pharmaceutical care with the goal being the safe, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drugs and information about drugs to achieve outcomes that improve patient quality of life.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy, with a Doctorate required for some specialty areas of clinical practice as defined by specialty description.
• Inpatient Pharmacy experience
• Membership in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) or the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) desired.

Licensure:

• Possesses current Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist.
