Job summary

Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital in Portage, WI, is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient pharmacy. The role offers full-time or 0.875 FTE with 10-hour day shifts, every third weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or PharmD degree from an accredited school of pharmacy.
• Wisconsin pharmacist licensure required.
• Residency/fellowship in pharmacy practice preferred.
• APhA or PSW membership desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drugs to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide drug information and collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapy.
• Support quality improvement and compliance within inpatient pharmacy.

PHARMACIST - Inpatient Pharmacy Aspirus Divine Savior Hospital, Portage, WI

Full-Time or .875 FTE, 80 hours every pay period

10-hour day shifts, every third weekend, holiday rotation

The Pharmacist serves as a specialist in a selected area of pharmaceutical care with the goal being the safe, efficacious, and cost-effective use of drugs and information about drugs to achieve outcomes that improve patient quality of life.

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical standards and practices normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor's or Doctorate Degree in pharmacy from an accredited school of pharmacy, with a Doctorate required for some specialty areas of clinical practice as defined by specialty description.
• Completion of a residency and/or fellowship in pharmacy practice preferred and management experience desired.
• A minimum of three years' experience desired in retail pharmacy practice to enhance and develop skills.
• Unique experience in a specialty area of pharmacy practice beneficial.
• Membership in the American Pharmacists Association (APhA) or the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin (PSW) desired.

Licensure:

• Possesses current Wisconsin licensure as a pharmacist.
