Job summary

Allina Health in Minnesota is seeking a Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Services team. Provides optimal pharmaceutical care for patients and oversees medication management, including home infusion, education, and compliance with laws and HIPAA.

This role includes reviewing medications, dispensing, counseling patients, collaborating with physicians, and guiding pharmacy staff. Requires a PharmD or Bachelors in Pharmacy and MN licensure; experience 0–2 years; benefits and a supportive work

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy OR PharmD from an accredited school of pharmacy.
0 to 2 years of identified pharmacy experience.
Licensed Pharmacist in MN and/or WI upon hire.

Responsibilities

Reviews medications and patient medication profiles for possible interactions.
Dispenses medications, enters, verifies, compounds and dispenses medications and IVs.
Counsels patients on new medication, refills and over-the-counter products as needed.
Provides pharmacotherapeutic recommendations to optimize therapy and maximize patient care and cost efficiencies.
Provides direction, support and training to Pharmacy team and coordinates with home infusion partners.
Keeps documentation in medical records and pharmacy reporting databases.
