Qualifikationen

Aufgaben

• Reviews medications and patient medication profiles for potential interactions and appropriate dosing.
• Dispenses medications including enter, verify, compound and dispense meds and IVs.
• Counsels patients on new medications, refills, and over-the-counter products; provides pharmacotherapeutic recommendations.
• Collaborates with physicians and health-care teams to optimize therapy and patient care within regulatory requirements.
• Provides direction and training to pharmacy staff and supports home infusion care as needed.
