Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL seeks a Pharmacist, Information Systems to lead design, build, and support of pharmacy technology including Epic and ancillary systems. You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, and informatics teams to optimize medication workflows and patient safety.

The role requires a PharmD, Illinois license or eligibility, and hospital experience, with Epic certification or ability to obtain within six months. Expect on-site duties with a 8-hour day schedule.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) required.
• Registered Pharmacist in Illinois or eligible for licensure.
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Epic Certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.
• Strong communication and accountability in fast-paced environments.

Responsabilités

• Design, build, implement, and support pharmacy systems (Epic, DoseEdge, Alaris, Pyxis, RIVA).
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings to maintain and enhance Epic functionality.
• Collaborate with IT and pharmacy informatics teams to optimize workflows.
• Staffing roles including IT/Epic Willow on-call and pharmacist shifts as needed.
• Develop reports from systems to troubleshoot issues and improve charging in Epic.
