Peachford Hospital is seeking a Pharmacy Manager for The Apothecary, our outpatient/retail pharmacy. The role serves as Pharmacist-In-Charge and oversees full-service operations with daytime hours, 36 hours per week.

Qualifications

• State licensed pharmacist in Georgia; PharmD preferred.
• 5–8 years pharmacy experience with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• 2–4 years supervisory/leadership/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops and achieves outpatient pharmacy goals through planning, organizing, and directing services.
• Manages drug utilization, dispensing, administration, and patient outcomes to ensure safety.
• Monitors purchasing and inventory management; stays current with pharmacy developments.
• Participates in quality improvement and medication use review activities; maintains logs and documentation.
• Supervises pharmacy support staff and verifies daily activities of technicians.
