Job summary

TheraCom is seeking a Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge for its Brooks, Kentucky mail order site. The role leads the pharmacist team, ensures compliant pharmacy operations, and supports safe prescription fulfillment in line with federal and Kentucky Board of Pharmacy requirements.

The PIC will oversee licensure, inspections, and adherence to accreditation standards, with a focus on patient safety, quality, and operational excellence. Office onsite 3 days a week as a lead pharmacist.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license, active and unrestricted in Kentucky or ability to obtain
• Ability to serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge under Kentucky Board of Pharmacy requirements
• 5+ years pharmacist experience, preferably in mail order, specialty, hospital, or high‑volume operations
• 2+ years leadership, supervisory, or management experience in a pharmacy setting
• Strong knowledge of federal and state pharmacy laws and regulatory expectations
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to work onsite at the Brooks, KY location

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist-in-Charge for the Brooks, KY mail order pharmacy location
• Provide onsite leadership and oversight to the pharmacist team
• Manage scheduling, workload, performance expectations and daily operations
• Coach and develop pharmacists for growth and performance
• Promote accountability, collaboration, patient safety, compliance and continuous improvement
• Partner with cross-functional teams to support program performance and operational excellence
• Stay abreast of regulatory changes and industry directions
• Oversee prescription verification, clinical reviews, and dispensing accuracy
• Ensure timely fulfillment of prescriptions per SLAs and regulatory requirements
• Support inventory, shipping coordination, and client-specific requirements
• Lead quality initiatives focused on dispensing accuracy, clinical review, and patient safety
• Prepare for inspections, audits, and accreditation renewals
• Maintain documentation and SOP updates related to this position
• Manage on-site access control and after-hours support
