Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge for a contract/part-time role in Stockbridge, GA. You will oversee the facility pharmacy, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and directing pharmacy operations.

Responsibilities include inventory control, medication preparation, and maintaining accurate records while supervising staff and ensuring safe, compliant medication distribution to clients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of pharmacy experience with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations governing pharmacy practice (DEA, state boards).
• Ability to maintain records, inventory, and reconciliation per policy.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate records and complete pharmacy variances as needed.
• Monitor, control and maintain inventory of medications and supplies.
• Reconcile medication inventory monthly and maintain reconciliation reports.
• Prepare take-home medications with proper labeling and verification.
• Secure opioid medications by restricting access to medication areas.
• Ensure compliant receipt and handling of medications per laws and DEA forms.
• Conduct Biennial Inventory as required by the DEA.
• Provide direction and supervision to pharmacy personnel.
• Review drug interactions and medication information before orders.
• Ensure compliance with Pinnacle Treatment Centers policies and regulatory guidelines.
• Oversee quality assurance of the pharmacy including incident report reviews.
• Other duties as assigned.
