MedStar Health is seeking an experienced Pharmacy Site Manager in Maryland/Baltimore to oversee all aspects of the pharmacy’s operations. You will supervise staff, ensure compliance with state and federal laws, and manage dispensing, counseling, and interprofessional collaboration with physicians and healthcare providers.

The role requires 5–7 years of retail pharmacy experience, a PharmD or B.Pharm, and MD or DC pharmacist licensure with immunization credentials.

Competenze

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
5-7 years Pharmacy experience in a retail setting required.
PHARMD - Licensed Pharmacist in MD or DC with Immunization and Vaccination Certification upon hire required.

Mansioni

Evaluate prescribed drugs for dose appropriateness, efficacy, allergy interactions and contraindications.
Process prescriptions through insurance, DUR rejects, and pre-authorizations.
Perform final check on prescriptions, ensuring accurate labeling and dispensing and provide counseling to patients and physicians.
Oversee CDS inventory, records, and logs; ensure compliance with state and federal laws and board requirements.
Supervise pharmacy operations, staffing, workflow, and inventory to meet department goals and safety standards.
Participate in quality, service improvement, meetings, and cross-functional committees.
