Job summary

Cal State East Bay seeks a Pharmacist-In-Charge for the Student Health Services Pharmacy. This temporary, part-time role (30 hours/week) oversees daily operations, provides clinical pharmaceutical services, and ensures regulatory compliance under SHCS policies. Occasional coverage may occur at Concord campus.

The position requires CA pharmacist licensure, a PharmD/ACPE-accredited degree, and 3–5 years of leadership experience in a pharmacy setting, with strong communication and management skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from ACPE-accredited program; valid CA pharmacist license.
• 3–5 years progressive operational/administrative experience as a licensed pharmacist.
• Ability to oversee pharmacy operations, supervise pharmacists and staff.
• Knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and campus processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services to students; dispense medications.
• Advise clinicians on drug selection, dosage and administration.
• Maintain formularies and supervise pharmacy staff.
• Inventory control and immunization support as needed.
