Job summary

Cal State East Bay is seeking a Pharmacist I to oversee the Student Health Center pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical services to students and adherence to board requirements. Qualifications

• Knowledge of laws and regulations pertaining to dispensing, storage and recordkeeping of drugs, narcotics and poisons.
• Ability to compound and fill prescriptions; evaluate prescriptions for ingredients, dosage and potential interactions.
• License: valid pharmacist license and proactive licensure maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Pharmaceutical Services to Customers: compound, fill and dispense medications; provide consultations to students; advise clinicians on drug selection, dosage and administration; update drug information; maintain patient profiles; coordinate disposal and inventory; assist with immunizations.

Education
