Job summary

Cal State East Bay’s Student Health Services seeks a Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee the campus pharmacy operations, ensuring high-quality pharmaceutical care for students and staff. You will supervise pharmacists and support staff, maintain formularies, and coordinate immunizations within the health center.

The role requires a valid pharmacist license, ACPE-credentialed pharmacy degree, and experience managing a busy campus pharmacy.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required and active in good standing.
• ACPE-accredited pharmacy degree or equivalent as recognized by the California State Board of Pharmacy.
• Experience overseeing operations in a larger pharmacy and providing lead direction to staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical services and patient consultations.
• Maintain formularies and drug information resources; ensure accurate patient profiles.
• Supervise pharmacists, technicians, and students; train staff as needed.
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and disposal of medications.
• Coordinate immunizations and support services within Student Health Center.
