Job summary

CorsoCare Pharmacy in Eastpointe, MI is seeking a Pharmacist In Charge (PIC) for a full-time, on-site role with on-call responsibility. The PIC will oversee dispensing accuracy, regulatory compliance, and the daily workflow, leading staff and coordinating with our cycle fill partner to ensure timely, safe medication delivery.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Pharmacy or a PharmD, active licensure in Michigan, and strong knowledge of pharmacy law, HIPAA, and Medicare/Medicaid requirements.

Qualifications

• Clear knowledge of federal and state pharmacy law, DEA regulations, HIPAA, and long-term care standards.
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice in good standing.
• Ability to lead a team and manage operations, compliance, and audits.
• Background checks and screenings completed and ongoing.

Responsibilities

• Own dispensing accuracy and clinical review for the pharmacy.
• Oversee regulatory compliance, controlled substance program, and audits.
• Lead the pharmacy team, including technicians and support staff.
• Manage operations, cycle workflow, and on-call coverage.
• Collaborate with partners and vendors to ensure service quality.
• Support community relationships and driver for patient care excellence.
