Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee the day-to-day operations of the Retail Pharmacy, ensuring safe, compliant, and patient-centered service. You will lead staff, collaborate with the Director of Pharmacy, and drive continuous improvement in workflows and patient care.
The role requires a PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy with at least five years in retail/pharmacy management.
Qualificações
- Pharmacist-in-Charge must oversee daily operations and safety.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations.
- Experience with ambulatory/retail pharmacy workflows.
Responsabilidades
- Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations to promote safe, accurate, and efficient prescription services.
- Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal pharmacy laws and standards.
- Support inspections, audits, investigations, and corrective action plans.
- Provide guidance to pharmacists, technicians, cashiers, and other staff.
- Promote staff education, training, and licensing compliance.
- Evaluate and improve workflows, packaging, and medication delivery processes.
- Collaborate with clinical pharmacists to support continuity of care.
- Serve as a preceptor for students and residents if applicable.
