Spanish Peaks Regional Health Center in Colorado is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge to oversee the daily operations of the Retail Pharmacy, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient medication services. You will lead staff, partner with the Director of Pharmacy, and drive quality care with a patient-centered focus.

The role emphasizes professional leadership, compliance, and ongoing process improvement to enhance patient experience and pharmacy workflows within the community.

Competenze

• Graduation from an accredited College of Pharmacy with a Bachelor’s or PharmD.
• Preferred PGY1 Practice/Community and PGY2 Ambulatory Care residency training.
• Retail pharmacy patient care and orders management experience or residency training.

Mansioni

• Oversee daily retail pharmacy operations for safe, accurate prescription services.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and standards.
• Support audits, investigations, and corrective action plans.
• Provide guidance to pharmacists, technicians, cashiers and staff.
• Promote staff education, training and licensing compliance.
• Improve workflows, packaging and medication delivery processes.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to support continuity of care.
• Serve as a preceptor for students and residents.
