NuvemRx is seeking a Pharmacy Manager / Pharmacist-in-Charge for a brand-new pharmacy embedded in a Bronx community health center. You will lead clinical and operational efforts, partnering with health center providers to shape patient experiences and grow impact.

This on-site role reports to NuvemRx Pharmacy leadership and collaborates with the health center team to ensure high-quality patient care, compliance, and efficient operations.

Formación

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with NY licensure or eligibility.
• Proven ability to run pharmacy operations independently.
• Strong patient care and compliance focus.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as clinical resource and trusted partner to health center providers, offering drug therapy consultation, education, and outreach.
• Counsel patients on medications, adherence, chronic disease management, and preventive care.
• Participate in clinical team meetings and population health initiatives at the health center.
• Administer immunizations and support vaccination programs as applicable.
• Lead all day-to-day operations including workflow, inventory, patient safety, and quality assurance.
• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local regulations including HIPAA and PWA standards.
• Maintain compliance with health center policies and NuvemRx standards.
• Oversee dispensing accuracy, verification, and documentation practices.
• Hire, onboard, and manage pharmacy staff, fostering care and accountability.
• Identify knowledge gaps and support staff development through coaching and training.
• Set and model patient-first service and professional excellence.
• Build and maintain partnership with health center client as primary pharmacy liaison.
• Identify opportunities to expand services and improve patient outcomes.
• Support NuvemRx’s broader mission and share best practices with leadership.
