Job summary

NuvemRx is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Galena, IL to lead a brand-new pharmacy embedded in a community health center. You’ll shape clinical and operational strategy, partnering with health center providers to improve patient care and program outcomes.

The role offers a full-time, on-site schedule with a relocation option and a mission-driven team. You’ll drive patient-first service, compliance, and staff development in a launch environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed pharmacist in good standing with Illinois licensure.
• Experience managing pharmacy operations and ensuring compliance.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to lead in an independent, community-focused setting.

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical resource to health center providers with drug therapy consultations.
• Counsel patients on medications, adherence, and preventive care; build relationships.
• Lead day-to-day operations including workflow, inventory, patient safety, quality assurance.
• Hire, onboard, and manage pharmacy staff; foster learning and accountability.
• Build partnerships with the health center client and expand pharmacy services.
