Job summary

Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy in Olathe, KS is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge to lead our employee-owned team and deliver high-quality pharmaceutical care in a patient-centered environment. The ideal candidate will have a PharmD, active Kansas license, 2–3 years of licensed pharmacist experience, and supervisory capability.

You will oversee operations, ensure regulatory compliance, mentor staff, and strengthen partnerships with healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active state pharmacist license in good standing.
• Minimum 2–3 years of licensed pharmacist experience; supervisory preferred.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations and clinical guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy and ensure safe, effective pharmaceutical services.
• Supervise, train, and mentor staff including technicians and support personnel.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including oversight of controlled substances, dispensing, and patient privacy.
• Provide patient consultations, MTM, counseling on prescriptions, and OTC guidance.
• Maintain inventory control and appropriate stocking of medications and supplies.
• Handle medication orders, prescriptions, and refills timely and accurately.
• Monitor performance metrics and implement strategies to improve operations and patient satisfaction.
• Foster a collaborative and supportive work culture among staff and healthcare professionals.
• Represent the pharmacy in the community and maintain relationships with patients and providers.
• Support ESOP culture by encouraging employee involvement and contribution to success.

Job Responsibilities
