Job description

Staff Pharmacist | Lincoln, NE | Full-Time or Part-Time | 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP)

At Neighborhood LTC Pharmacy, you won't be counting by 5s in a retail setting or processing insurance rejections all day. You'll be caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and behavioral health needs—people who depend on you to get their medications right, on time, every time.

WHY THIS ISN'T JUST ANOTHER PHARMACY JOB

Here’s what makes us different:

  • You’ll participate in the Employee Stock Ownership Plan for the company you work for. A pharmacy team, that works together!
  • We’re 100% employee‑owned through an ESOP. That means:
  • Every prescription you verify builds YOUR retirement wealth.
  • You’re not an employee—you’re an owner in the plan.
WHAT YOUR DAY LOOKS LIKE:

You'll work with group homes, behavioral health facilities, and supported living communities. Places where your clinical expertise genuinely improves lives.

Your Core Work
  • Verify multi‑dose medication cards with full‑color MARs using AI‑assisted technology.
  • Clinical consultations with prescribers, nurses, and direct support professionals.
  • Medication therapy management and drug interaction reviews.
  • Administer long‑acting injectable injections.
  • Real‑time MAR updates so caregivers always have accurate information.
  • Participate in medication review committees.
What You Get To Do
  • Work with an inclusive team.
  • Build relationships with agencies who genuinely appreciate your expertise.
  • Make a real difference for individuals who need specialized medication support.
  • Have time to actually practice pharmacy (not just process claims).
The Neighborhood Difference

We don’t just serve the IDD community, we employ them. Every pharmacy has IDD employees (Social Coordinators, Environmental Services). We host gaming nights. We celebrate our patients as neighbors, not just “customers.”

Ownership & Wealth Building – 100% ESOP ownership.

Competitive 401(k) match on top of ESOP.

Actual Work‑Life Balance – Monday‑Saturday daytime hours; Sundays and major holidays closed. Paid on‑call rotation.

Supportive Team Environment – You’re never alone. Work alongside other pharmacists, techs, and drivers.

Regional Leader and Pharmacist In‑Charge support, National support team (IT, HR, Compliance, Inventory).

  • Team player who thrives in collaborative environments.
  • Compassion and patience working with vulnerable populations.
Preferred
  • Experience in fast‑paced, high‑volume pharmacy setting.
  • Immunization certification.
  • Interest in medication therapy management (MTM).
Non‑Negotiables
  • Must pass background check and drug screen.
  • Must be able to commute to Irving, TX (or relocate before start date).
  • Commitment to our mission and values.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Hourly Wage: $58–$65 per hour.
