Job summary

Barrington James is seeking a Pharmacist-in-Charge for our Orlando facility in the United States. You will hold ultimate accountability for site performance, quality, and regulatory compliance, and lead compounding and call center operations with autonomy after onboarding.

Role requires Florida licensure and proven experience leading pharmacy or compounding teams, with a data-driven approach to performance and KPI management to drive the site toward full production capacity.

Qualifications

• Active pharmacist license valid in Florida.
• Experience leading and scaling pharmacy or compounding teams.
• Proven track record of driving accountability and performance improvement.
• Compounding experience preferred, sterile compounding a plus.
• Autonomy after onboarding with minimal oversight.
• Data-driven management style with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Be Pharmacist-in-Charge for the Orlando facility with ultimate accountability for site performance.
• Establish clear performance standards and accountability across operations.
• Drive daily production output back toward target volumes through hands-on leadership.
• Collaborate with the Quality Lead on day-to-day quality and regulatory execution.
• Manage site-level P&L, staffing and operational KPIs.
• Support growth toward full production capacity and scale the site.

Job description

• As Pharmacist-in-Charge for the Orlando facility you will hold ultimate accountability for site performance, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Establish and ensure clear performance standards and accountability across compounding and call center functions
• Drive daily production output back up toward target volumes through hands‑on operational leadership
• Partner closely with the site's Quality Lead, who owns day‑to‑day quality/regulatory execution
• Manage site‑level P&L, staffing, and operational KPIs
• Build toward the organization's broader growth targets as the site scales toward full production capacity

Job Requirements

• Active pharmacist license (Florida required, additional state licensure a plus but not required)
• Demonstrated experience leading and scaling pharmacy or compounding operations teams
• Strong track record of driving accountability and performance improvement within an operational team
• Compounding experience strongly preferred with sterile compounding experience a plus (non-sterile experience acceptable)
• Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy after an initial onboarding/support period
• Clear, concise communication style; data and KPI-driven approach to management
