Job summary

Radius Staffing Solutions seeks a Pharmacy Supervisor & PIC-Days for a community hospital in California. A BS or PharmD and a California license are required. Day shift: 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.

The role leads clinical program development, committee participation, and EHR content guidance, with IT Pharmacy project involvement. Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team while maintaining pharmacist duties.

Qualifications

• Must have a current California Pharmacist license.
• BLS certification or obtain during orientation.
• ACLS and PALS certification or obtain within six months of assignment.

Responsibilities

• Assists the department in the creation and maintenance of clinical programs and services.
• Participates in all committee functions pertinent to patient care and medication issues.
• Guides the creation and maintenance of pharmacy content within the electronic health record, including order set creation and maintenance.
• Serves as a subject matter expert for the ACS department in IT Pharmacy applications and projects.
• Develops and/or facilitates the development of action plans related to Clinical Pharmacy activities and IT Pharmacy projects.
• Demonstrates ability to foster good relations with the Interdisciplinary Team while still performing necessary duties as a Registered Pharmacist.
• Manages IT Pharmacy-oriented applications such as the Carefusion Knowledge Portal, Alaris CQI, Alaris Drug Library, and Sentry 340B Software.
• Equips the department of pharmacy with reporting and data collection tools within the Meditech environment.

Permanent Pharmacy Supervisor and PIC needed in a beautiful California location. BS or PharmD with a current California pharmacy license.

Work for a community-based hospital. Live in the beautiful Central Valley close to National Forests and the Pacific Coast.

This is a day shift, 8 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.

Minimum Requirements of the Pharmacist:

• Must have a current California Pharmacist license.
• Must have and maintain current American Heart Association BLS certification or obtain it within the orientation process, before assignment.
• Must have and maintain American Heart Association ACLS and PALS certification or obtain it within six (6) months of assignment to the department.
