Job summary

Walgreens Co. is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consultations, educate patients on medications, and deliver immunizations and other clinical services.

You will ensure safe dispensing, participate in medication therapy management, and mentor pharmacy teams in a collaborative setting. The position requires licensure in applicable states, including the district, and completion of immunization certification or willingness to obtain it within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
