Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients and deliver clinical healthcare services including immunizations and medication therapy management.

You will educate patients on medication usage, ensure safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance, and mentor pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment. Current pharmacist licensure required; immunizer certification preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative and supportive environment.
