Job summary

Walgreens Co. in the United States is seeking a Pharmacist to provide expert-level pharmacy consulting, immunizations, and medication therapy management to patients in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will educate patients on medication usage, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, mentor pharmacy team members, and collaborate with care providers to improve outcomes. A BS in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy and active licensure are required; Certified Immunizer status is preferred.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing, compounding, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
