Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Registered Pharmacist to join our Pharmacy team. You will fill and verify prescriptions, counsel patients, support the pharmacy team, and participate in wellness programs and community outreach.

The ideal candidate is licensed as a pharmacist, committed to patient care and delivering exceptional service every day. Immunizations administering and HIPAA compliance are integral to this role, with opportunities for growth within Hy-Vee's pharmacy network.

Qualifications

College degree and licensure in pharmacy required; ongoing CE to maintain license.
Licensed pharmacist with ability to administer immunizations.
Ability to counsel patients and provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

Fill and verify prescriptions accurately according to OBRA '90 and state/federal laws.
Counsel patients and support pharmacy team in daily operations.
Manage inventory and assist with third-party accounts reconciliation.
Provide immunizations as certified and uphold HIPAA privacy.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to Hy-Vee policies.
