Job summary

Mercy Care Atlanta is seeking a Pharmacist II - Retail to join our ambulatory care team in a part-time, day-shift role. You will provide patient-centered pharmacy services, review and dispense medications, and participate in MTM/CMR to optimize therapy.

The role requires GA licensure, a Bachelor’s in Pharmacy (Pharm.D preferred), and retail/ambulatory (or residency) experience. Mercy Care offers daily pay, PTO, generous benefits, and opportunities to mentor colleagues within a supportive network.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D preferred.
1 year in retail or ambulatory pharmacy or completion of a pharmacy residency.
Current pharmacist license in the state of Georgia.
Preferred: 340B experience and MTM certification.

Responsibilities

Deliver professional pharmacy services in accordance with state and federal regulations.
Review, prepare, and dispense medications while ensuring safety and efficacy.
Provide MTM and Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR).
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and outcomes.
Maintain accurate records and monitor adverse drug reactions.
Support procurement and respond to drug shortages with therapeutic alternatives.
Utilize pharmacy technology and automation tools effectively.
Mentor and educate colleagues to promote professional development.
