Mercy Care Atlanta, a Trinity Health affiliate, is seeking a Pharmacist II - Retail to join our ambulatory team. This part-time role focuses on delivering patient-centered pharmacy services in a dynamic setting, supporting clinical and retail operations while ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will collaborate with clinicians to optimize therapy, perform MTM/CMR, and participate in medication safety initiatives. Georgia license required; PharmD preferred; familiarity with 340B is a plus.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy required; Pharm.D. preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 1 year in retail or ambulatory pharmacy or residency completed.
• Licensure: Current Georgia pharmacist license.
• Preferred: 340B and Medication Assistance Programs; MTM certification.
• Strong leadership, communication, and critical thinking skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy technology systems.

Responsibilities

Position Purpose

Mercy Care, a member of Trinity Health, is seeking a dedicatedPharmacist II - Retail to join our compassionate team in Atlanta. This role is ideal for a licensed pharmacist who thrives in a dynamic ambulatory care setting and is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered pharmacy services. You will play a key role in supporting clinical, retail, and specialty pharmacy operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and promoting optimal medication use.

What You Will Do

• Deliver professional pharmacy services in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Review, prepare, and dispense medications while ensuring safety and efficacy.
• Provide clinical services including Medication Therapy Management (MTM) and Comprehensive Medication Reviews (CMR).
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize drug therapy and improve patient outcomes.

• Participate in procurement processes and respond to drug shortages with therapeutic alternatives.
