SpecialtyRx is hiring a Licensed Pharmacist to join our high-impact LTC pharmacy team. You will evaluate medication orders, ensure correct dispensing, and collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and facilities to optimize patient care.

The ideal candidate holds a KY Pharmacist license, with LTC experience preferred, and demonstrates strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently on diverse shifts. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for drug appropriateness, dosage, interactions and administration.

• Supervise preparation of medicines.
• Make therapy change recommendations to physicians and staff.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Maintain customers’ database with medical history and clinical data.

License Pharmacist Responsibilities:

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
• Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with facilities’ nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members in regard to medication-related query.
• Supervise the preparation of any medicines.
• Make recommendation for therapy changes to the physician and client facilities staff, if necessary.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Maintain customers’ database to include medical history, clinical, laboratory data, etc.
