Job summary

Capsule is hiring a Staff Pharmacist in Miami to ensure accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders. You will learn Capsule systems and coordinate with internal teams, couriers, doctors’ offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet patient needs.

With 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience and a valid license, you will counsel customers on prescription and OTC items, optimize workflows, and help build a high-quality patient experience in a fast-paced, innovative setting.

Qualifications

• 1–2+ years of pharmacy experience including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries.
• Valid Pharmacist License in the state of employment.
• Resourceful, optimistic, creative, and team-oriented.
• Ability to analyze and improve pharmacy processes.

Responsibilities

• Learn Capsule systems and manage internal and external pharmacy operations.
• Handle prescription orders: processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries.

About the Role

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations.
• Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries
• Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items

Requirements

• You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
• You hold a valid Pharmacist License in the state of employment
• You are resourceful, optimistic, creative, and enjoy helping your team
• You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
• You are available to work within operating hours: MIA Pharmacy Hours: Mon - Fri: 8am-6pm Sat/Sun: 8am-3pm
