Job summary

Capsule in Atlanta is seeking a Staff Pharmacist to ensure accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders. You will learn and manage both internal and external pharmacy operations, supporting a dynamic workflow and a great customer experience.

With 1-2+ years of pharmacy experience and a valid state license, you will collaborate with doctors, insurers, and courier teams, providing counseling on medications and maintaining inventory. This is a full-time, on-site role.

• Pharmacist License in the state of employment is required.
• Strong focus on customer experience and pharmacy processes.

Responsibilities

• Learn Capsule systems and manage internal and external pharmacy operations.
• Handle prescription orders: processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries.
• Communicate with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues and courier team to ensure smooth deliveries.
• Counsel customers on prescription and over-the-counter medications.

About the Role

As a Staff Pharmacist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of prescription orders to patients. Your responsibilities will include:

• Learn our systems thoroughly, managing both internal and external pharmacy operations.
• Be a team player, handling various aspects of prescription orders such as processing, filling, inventory, and customer inquiries
• Communicate well with doctors' offices, pharmacies, and insurers to meet prescription needs.
• Collaborate with pharmacy colleagues to ensure a smooth customer experience in a dynamic workflow and work with our courier team to handle deliveries efficiently
• Provide counseling and drug-related information to customers for both prescription and over-the-counter items

Requirements

• You have 1-2+ years of relevant pharmacy experience, including prescription processing, inventory management, and customer inquiries
• You hold a valid Pharmacist License in the state of employment
• You are resourceful, optimistic, creative, and enjoy helping your team
• You understand how to create a great customer experience and can analyze and improve pharmacy processes
• You are available to work within operating hours: Full-time during hours of operation
  Monday - Friday, 9:30AM to 6:00PM, covering every 3rd weekend
  Saturday - Sunday, 11:00AM - 3:00PM
