Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Kentucky is seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our team in a fast-paced retail pharmacy. You will dispense medications, administer immunizations, and ensure prescriptions are accurate while following all laws and Kroger policies.

Responsibilities include verifying medications, assisting with patient counseling, maintaining safety standards, and supporting promotions and leadership within the pharmacy. A PharmD or BS Pharmacy and active license are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a Pharmacist license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or PharmD.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service in a professional, welcoming manner.
• Administer immunizations following Kroger procedures.
• Dispense medications and ensure accuracy.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and ingredients.
• Verify new medications against patient profiles for interactions.
• Ensure quality assurance and safe disposal of hazardous waste drugs.
• Maintain safety and compliance with laws including HIPAA and DEA procedures.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Manager on promotions.
• Support day-to-day operations and staffing needs.
• Stay current with ads and promotions.
• Report accidents and resolve issues with customers.
