Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting and patient education in a community setting. You will educate patients on medication use, safety, side effects, and offer cost-effective options, while delivering immunizations and MTM services.

You will ensure safe dispensing, regulatory compliance, and mentor pharmacy teammates in a collaborative environment. A current pharmacist license and immunizer certification or plan to obtain one within 90 days

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited school.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willingness to become one within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver immunizations and other clinical services, including testing and MTM.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment.
