Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a licensed pharmacist to deliver expert medication consulting and clinical services in our community pharmacies. You’ll educate patients on proper medication usage, cost-saving options, and potential side effects while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

In addition to immunizations and MTM, you will mentor pharmacy team members and contribute to a high-quality patient care experience. This role offers competitive pay, PTO, and growth opportunities within Walgreens.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree and active licensure in applicable states.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become one within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, including prescription filling and verification.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients.
• Educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical services including immunizations, point-of-care testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate dispensing and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy staff in a collaborative environment.
