Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a Pharmacist to provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting to patients in a retail setting. You will educate patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options, while delivering immunizations and other clinical pharmacy services.

Additionally, you will ensure medication safety, participate in regulatory compliance, and mentor pharmacy staff as part of a collaborative team dedicated to patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or Pharmacist Degree from an accredited institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, expert-level pharmacy consulting services to patients.
• Educate and consult patients on medication usage, side effects, and cost-effective options.
• Deliver clinical healthcare services, including immunizations, diagnostic testing, and medication therapy management.
• Ensure medication safety through accurate compounding, dispensing, and regulatory compliance.
• Mentor and train pharmacy team members in a collaborative environment.
