Job summary

Cub in Blaine East is seeking a Pharmacist to oversee dispensing, provide patient consultations, and supervise pharmacy technicians and clerks, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and store policies.

The role emphasizes delivering prompt, friendly service, maintaining accurate records, participating in clinical programs, and upholding HIPAA and quality standards to support the community’s health needs.

Qualifications

• Must have a college degree in Pharmacy (BS or PharmD).
• Must pass the NAPLEX.
• Must pass the State MPJE.
• Must hold a valid state license and be eligible as a Certified Immunizer.
• Must complete continuing education hours as required by law.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and record keeping.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt, efficient customer service and professional consultation.
• Fill prescriptions in compliance with laws and company policies.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and other staff.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and records for controlled substances.
• Respond to telephone requests from customers and physicians.
• Participate in clinical program offerings and audits.
• Ensure inventory control and order replenishment.
• Maintain inventory and perform daily tasks to support operations.
