Job summary

jmh is seeking licensed Pharmacists to lead medication use in a health system, performing order verification, assessing therapy, and supervising technicians in the absence of management. This role covers ambulatory, oncology, pediatrics, and critical care tracks with opportunities in informatics.

Candidates must hold a California RPH license, with ASHP PGY1 preferred for general practice and experience in acute care or specialty clinics. Willingness to work varied shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• RPH registered pharmacist with California Board of Pharmacy - Required
• Completion of ASHP Accredited General Practice Residency (PGY1) - Preferred
• Healthcare - Acute Care - Preferred
• ASHP: Accredited residency in Information Technology - Required for informatics
• Oncology/Pediatric/Critical Care experience preferred for respective tracks

Responsibilities

• Provide medication order verification and monitor drug therapy to ensure safe, effective regimens.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and assist in pharmacy management in the absence of leadership.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes and workflow across pharmacy services.
• Educate patients and healthcare teams on therapies and monitoring requirements.
• Support ambulatory care clinics and specialized programs as described.
