Job summary

Prismhr Hire seeks experienced Pharmacists to support multiple Utah locations, Salt Lake City and Gunnison. This As Needed schedule offers flexibility for licensed professionals to provide patient care, consult with clinicians, and ensure safe medication handling.

Responsibilities include preparing medications, offering drug information, maintaining inventory of drugs and controlled substances, and processing prescriptions while complying with state and federal regulations under the DHHS.

Qualifications

• Maintain all licenses required to lawfully perform the Pharmacist services.
• Maintain current, active, and unrestricted licenses in the State of Utah applicable to pharmacists
• Maintain a valid Utah Controlled Substance License and Drug Enforcement Administration certification with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications according to prescriptions written by authorized medical practitioners.
• Provide drug information and consultation to physicians, nurses, patients, and other clinical staff.
• Order and maintain a secure inventory of drugs, chemicals, and controlled substances.
• Fill and refill prescriptions as authorized.
• Prepare reports on medication and drug usage patterns; and
• Perform other pharmaceutical tasks assigned by DHHS staff.
