Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy or PharmD is required.
• Valid and current pharmacist license in Utah and in good standing with Utah DOPL.
• 2-5 years related experience working in a pharmacy with supervisory responsibilities.
• Knowledge of DEA, FDA, and state and federal laws, rules, and regulations surrounding the pharmacy practice, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and supervision to pharmacy staff.
• Assist the PIC in hiring decisions, training, and directing work.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, dosage, and storage guidance.
• Maintain pharmacy records and inventories, including controlled substances.
• Ensure HIPAA adherence and patient confidentiality.
