Job summary

Qualifications

• Must maintain all licenses required to lawfully perform pharmacist services and ensure they remain current.
• Maintain current, active, and unrestricted licenses in the State of Utah applicable to pharmacists.
• Maintain a valid Utah Controlled Substance License and Drug Enforcement Administration certification with no disciplinary actions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications according to prescriptions written by authorized medical practitioners.
• Provide drug information and consultation to physicians, nurses, patients, and other clinical staff.
• Order and maintain a secure inventory of drugs, chemicals, and controlled substances.
• Fill and refill prescriptions as authorized.
• Prepare reports on medication and drug usage patterns; and
• Perform other pharmaceutical tasks assigned by DHHS staff.
