BlueSky Pharmacy LLC is a Long-term Care pharmacy located in Gretna, Nebraska, seeking a licensed Pharmacist to join our employee-owned team. The role focuses on safe, effective medication therapy, collaborating with LTC facilities across Nebraska.

You will verify prescriptions, provide clinical recommendations, support formulary management, and mentor staff. Flexible scheduling and a strong work-life balance are emphasized in our collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed Pharmacist with PharmD preferred.
• LTC experience preferred.
• Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Experience training and mentoring pharmacy staff.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve drug-related problems, including interactions, duplications, contraindications, and inappropriate dosing.
• Provide clinical recommendations to prescribers and facility staff to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Verify prescriptions and ensure accurate dispensing.
• Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff, prescribers, and facility administrators.
• Communicate recommendations clearly and professionally to interdisciplinary teams.
• Assist with formulary management and cost-effective medication use strategies.
• Support pharmacy technicians and other staff as needed.
