Job summary

Twin County Regional Healthcare is seeking a full-time Pharmacist to join our outpatient and anticoagulation clinic teams. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary group to optimize drug therapy and ensure safe medication use across care settings. Requirements include a Doctor of Pharmacy, state board licensure, and BLS; ACLS is preferred.

Hourly wage range is $58.07–$69.71. We offer comprehensive benefits, PTO, tuition support, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

  • Doctor of Pharmacy degree required.
  • Registered with the state Board of Pharmacy.
  • BLS required.
  • ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team.
  • Reviews, interprets, and evaluates medication orders to identify, prevent, and resolve drug-related problems.
  • Provides drug information and education to medical staff, patients, and pharmacy students.
  • Documents interventions and outcomes for drug therapy quality improvement.
  • Verifies medication orders for accuracy/completeness prior to entry; checks filled medications prepared by technicians; maintains proficiency with pharmacy automated systems and software.
  • Manages patients in an outpatient anticoagulation clinic, including point-of-care testing, result evaluation, dosing, and scheduling.
  • Participates in performance improvement and required continuing education.

How you'll contribute

A Pharmacist who excels in this role:

  • Manages drug therapy protocols as part of an interdisciplinary team.
