Windsor Healthcare Recruitment Group, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist for inpatient staffing across ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, and OR (cardiothoracic). The role involves dosing/monitoring IV medications, including vancomycin, aminoglycosides, heparin, and TPN, with attention to USP 797 standards.

Experience with IV medications and a Wisconsin license (BLS, BCPS preferred) are noted, with local area coverage within an 80-mile radius. Omnicell dispensing system is used.

Qualifications

• Inpatient staffing experience often required.
• Vancomycin AUC dosing experience.
• Aminoglycosides dosing experience.
• Heparin dosing/monitoring experience.
• TPN management/monitoring experience.
• Understanding of USP 797 for IV meds.

Responsabilités

• Staff inpatient pharmacy covering ICU, IMC, ED, Med-Surg, OR (cardiothoracic), central pharmacy.
• Dosing and monitoring select IV meds including vancomycin, aminoglycosides, heparin, TPN.
• Ensure medication dispensing and IV compounding compliance with USP 797.
• Coordinate with pharmacy techs and staff; participate in schedule as described.

IV Room experience not required but must understand USP 797 . Minimal chemo done here. We make gemcitabine or mitomycin for urology surgery and occasional methotrexate for ectopic pregnancies.

• TPN management/monitoring
• IV Room experience not required but must understand USP 797 and be able to tabletop meds or make sure techs are making IV's correctly.

Pharmacy Manager/Supervisor: Chris Becker, R.Ph., Pharm.D., BCPS. Pharmacy Techs?: Mon-Fri 05-1330 + 0830-1700 and a 1330-2200 shift. Holidays & weekends 0600-1430 and 1330-2200 shift. Shifts & Scheduling: will work 7 shifts in a two week pay period. 7/70 Wednesday night through Tuesday nights. Shifts are 9pm to 7am. Weekend Requirements: Yes every 3rd or 4th. Holiday Requirements: Yes. Is there an on-call requirement?: No. Medication Dispensing System?: Omnicell. Scrubs or Dress Code Requirements: Scrubs, clean & professional or business casual fine. Department specific orientation: Will have typical orientation modules, but pharmacy will supply 2-3 week orientation.

MUST note in submission if clinician has ever worked for Marshfield. If clinician previously worked with Marshfield, they must have an end date 6 months prior to their submission date.
