You will verify both ambient and cold-chain medications, work with technicians, and maintain accuracy in a high-volume setting. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Active Kentucky pharmacist license in good standing.
• Must reside within 30 miles of the Brooks, Kentucky facility.
• Ability to stand for extended periods in a warehouse-style pharmacy fulfillment environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to prescription accuracy and patient safety.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform final verification of prescriptions before shipment.
• Verify ambient-temperature and cold-chain medications according to established procedures and quality standards.
• Maintain accuracy and efficiency while completing repetitive prescription verification tasks in a high-volume fulfillment environment.
• Work on the fulfillment floor alongside pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to support daily pharmacy operations.
• Occasionally respond to inbound phone inquiries regarding prescription orders or clinical details.
• Adapt to changing workloads and operational changes associated with an upcoming computer system transition.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain quality, accuracy, and timely prescription fulfillment.
• Remain flexible and willing to take on additional responsibilities as operational needs evolve.

Unlike traditional retail pharmacy positions, this opportunity focuses primarily on prescription verification and fulfillment operations, with minimal direct patient interaction.

• Ability to adapt to new pharmacy software systems and evolving operational workflows.
• Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
• Fully onsite at our Brooks, Kentucky facility.
• Consistent weekday schedule within facility operating hours of 8:00 AM–8:00 PM.
• Hands-on training and collaboration with experienced pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Please note: This position requires extended periods of standing and working on the pharmacy fulfillment floor.
