Job summary

SpecialtyRx, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacist (1st Shift) for a long-term care setting. The role involves evaluating orders, ensuring correct labeling, communicating with care teams, and supervising preparation of medicines.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness of drug, dosage, potential interactions, and proper administration.
• Ensure that dispensed medicines are correctly supplied and labeled.
• Communicate with facilities nursing staff, physicians, and other healthcare team members regarding medication-related queries.
• Supervise the preparation of medicines.
• Make recommendations for therapy changes to physicians and client facilities staff, if necessary.
• Investigate and resolve medication-related queries.
• Maintain customers database to include medical history, clinical, laboratory data, etc.

License Pharmacist Responsibilities:
